This week, we had the privilege of facilitating a wellness workshop with the Ikamva Health Workers, who provide essential home-based care to members of our community. Caring for others can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with high levels of stress and emotional demands. Together, we explored the stress cycle, learning practical ways to recognise stress, understand how it affects the body, and discover healthy ways to complete the cycle. By investing in the wellbeing of our caregivers, we help ensure they can continue providing compassionate care while also looking after themselves.
