Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive Site: Joubertsdam
Water Temp: Moderate
Visibility: Poor
Sightings: Great white shark, Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose seven gill sharks + Cape fur seal
Summary: What an incredible day from start to finish, filled with thrilling encounters with Bronze Whaler sharks! We were also incredibly fortunate to witness the rare and ancient Broadnose sevengill shark, a truly prehistoric shark. On the second trip, we were truly lucky enough to share the water with a Great white shark! Albeit a bit shy and keeping some distance from the boat, a thrilling sighting, with our last individual spotted in July. To top it all off, we had the delight of watching a playful Cape fur seal in action! Huge thanks to all the divers and spectators who made this adventure even more memorable!
