Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seals, Short-tail stingray
Trip Summary: An exciting day on the water, with a whole host of marine life waiting for us at the dive site. Arriving, the swell was a gentle roll with clear skies and clients were soon in their wetsuits to witness the marine life up close. Upon arrival, Bronze whaler sharks were the first to arrive, with consistent activity throughout the trip, sporting multiple females of varying sizes. The Short-tail stingray appeared on the trip too, showing off her size and impressing guests in the cage and on the boat. A couple of curious Cape fur seals playfully manoeuvred around the vessel, topping of our marine sightings for the day. Thank you to everyone who embraced the wet and wild on board Slashfin today!
