Leana Groenewald has always loved being creative and her passion for make-up started at a young age.
Leana's mother sold make-up part-time and never discouraged her from playing with the various products. At the age of 14, she started doing make-up for friends and family, and her talent blossomed. Soon everyone was asking her to do their make-up for special occasions.
In 2009, Leana received her Diploma in hospitality and hotel management from IHT Hotel School. She intended to focus on event management and planning but life took a different turn and she began running a company dealing in the property sector in Table Bay.
While Leana enjoyed working in hospitality and the property sector, helping people look their best was something she truly cherished. Encouraged by a close friend, she decided to start her own business, Mooi Grimering & Bykomstighede.
When Leana is not busy with her make-up brushes, she still manages properties remotely.
In her spare time, she indulges in painting (yes, using that brush again). Leana also loves making the most of Gansbaai’s beaches and hiking trails.
