Red Wine Oxtail
Celebrate the season with this tender, slow-cooked lamb, infused with garlic and oregano.

Make mushroom sauce on the braai in a few simple steps with this easy-peasy recipe. Ideal as a sauce for steaks or burgers grilled on the fire.
• 2 Tbsp. Butter
• 450ml Cream
• 1/2 Punnet of Mushrooms, chopped
• 1 Block Mature Cheddar, grated
• 2 Tbsp. Flour
• 1 Tbsp. Mustard
• 1 Punnet of Parsley
1. Light the fire and enjoy a drink while you wait for your coals to form.
2. Melt butter into a sauce pot on medium-heat coals.
3. Add half the cream.
4. Whisk in the flour.
5. Add in the rest of the cream.
6. Add in chopped mushrooms, once the sauce has thickened.
7. Add in grated cheddar at the very end, whisking for one last time
8. Remove from the fire and let it gently simmer, making sure there are no lumps.
9. Serve and enjoy!
