Recipe: Durban Mutton Curry
If there’s anyone in South Africa that knows how to make a decent curry, it has to be a Durbanite.
Ever tried grilled bananas with melted marshmallow? Forget about smores, our grilled banana with marshmallow and chocolate is the ultimate braai dessert.
• 4 Bananas
• 1 Packet of marshmallows
• 1 Packet of OK Choice Coconut Biscuits for sprinkling
• Chocolate Spread
1. Cut off the stems of the bananas.
2. Slice in half along the length of the bananas.
3. Once the fire is ready, place the bananas flat side down on the grid and braai till grill lines start to show (careful to not over braai as bananas may become too soft to handle).
4. Microwave your marshmallows in a bowl until creamy and smooth (2 min).
5. Place the bananas on a plate.
6. Take a big tablespoon blob of melted marshmallow and serve on top of the bananas.
7. Drizzle chocolate spread over the top.
8. Crush some OK Choice Coconut Biscuits and sprinkle over the top.
9. Serve and be ready to receive compliments.
