Skip the stress and make this easy mixed berry crumble recipe. This dish is perfect for a midweek treat after a busy day. All your troubles will disappear as it melts in your mouth, and the warm berry syrup will have you dishing seconds and thirds.
400g Blueberries
160g Raspberries
2 tbsp. Castor Sugar
500g Vanilla Cake or Muffin Premix
250g Butter
¼ cup Water
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Toss all the berries into a baking dish.
3. Coat the berries in the castor sugar and add all the water.
4. Cover this mixture with an even layer of vanilla cake or muffin premix.
5. Grate ate the butter into bits and sprinkle over dish.
6. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
7. Serve with ice cream, custard, or cream.
Pro-tip: If you’re struggling to get a good scoop of ice cream out of your tub, heat up your spoon in a cup of boiling water and try scoop again.
