To all our locals and visitors, have some fun with us this holiday season and stand a chance to win fantastic prizes!
Sometimes a penguin needs to spread its wings, so to speak. As such Blue is leaving her ‘island’ of the Great White House and heading off to the Hermanus Whale Festival (27 - 29 September 2019) where she joins the team of the Dyer Island Conservation Trust/Marine Dynamics who will share the tale of her endangered feathered friends and other marine life. Here the children can be scientists and match shark fins or whale callosities, and hear more about marine pollution, the penguins, and sharks in short talks. So do come say hello then head to Gansbaai to meet the other seven special penguins.
Blue quite likes Hermanus so she is staying to attend the Mayoral Awards on Thursday night (3 Oct). In fact, the Mayor recently popped by to say hello to Blue! Good luck to all the finalists for the Awards.
Blue is going to be joined for the evening by good friends Dee Liscious from Blue Goose and Misti from Gansbaai Tourism.
There’s no denying that we are pretty hot stuff.
For more information on Blue, please contact Marine Dynamics directly.

Blue had a blast at the Hermanus Whale Festival even supporting the educational talks and the penguin dance.
It’s not all black and white for penguins - in fact, some rather colourful penguins have made their home in Gansbaai in the Western Cape of South Africa.
