The Pearly Beach Conservancy hosted the Strandveld Hiking Club on its Meander along the coast and through Pearly Beach on 12 November 2022.
About thirty people participated in the walk, which took place under ideal conditions. On the coastal path, they were treated to the wide vistas of the sea and even a whale sighting. The tide was just right for the beach part of the walk. In the village, the Whale Coast Brewing Co. opened early to provide the hikers with a refreshing beer and snack. The Pearly Beach Conservancy wishes to thank everyone for their support. We look forward to many more Meanders in the future.
