Chairperson’s Report 2024

2024 came with challenges, but also progress! Water restrictions were briefly in place due to low dam levels, but good winter rains helped ease the situation. The filtration system has also been upgraded to improve water supply.

The new Electricity Capacity Charge was introduced, allowing prepaid meter users to choose between 30, 40, 50, or 60 amp supply. Credit meter users need to switch to prepaid if they want a lower supply.

The application for a bottle store in Law Street is under review, and all comments have been noted. The repair of the water tower is set to begin soon.

A big thank you to the management team, ward councillors, and Overstrand Municipality for their continued support.
