The Pride Property™ real estate agents recently attended the Dyke's van Heerden Roadshow in Hermanus on 13 June 2024 at Bosko Hall! It was an inspiring event where we soaked in wisdom from renowned speakers Louis Slabbert and Michelle Taylor-Rebel.

Meet the team who are passionate about turning your property dreams into reality:

Adele Nel

Adele Nel (Principal) MPRE NQF5 (Master Practitioner in Real Estate), has been actively involved in the property market since 1997.

Adele takes pride in knowing every nook and cranny of the greater Gansbaai area and is well-connected to many of its residents. Being a long-time local often means she knows of available properties long before they officially hit the market.

When she's not making property dreams come true, Adele loves tackling the challenges on her jam-packed bucket list. She has completed the Cape Town Cycle Tour three times, hiked the Fish River Canyon twice, and walked the Camino de Santiago French route (from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France, to Santiago, Spain) twice. 

Another passion close to Adele’s heart is spending downtime with her three grandchildren at her farm in Baardskeerdersbos.

Pieter van der Colff

Pieter completed his NDip Real Estate Economics / Real Estate Management / Valuation through UNISA (University of South Africa). He is a registered Candidate Property Valuer with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession, a full-status estate agent and has worked in the property industry since 2005.

After living in the Karoo for many years, Pieter relocated to Gansbaai in 2015 to help establish Pride Property with Adele Nel.  

In his spare time Pieter, a keen spearfisherman, loves exploring the Gansbaai coastline where he hunts for fish, and crayfish in season. Another of his favourite haunts is the local church market’s pancake stand on a Friday morning.

Pietie Trautman

Pietie grew up in Hout Bay but his earliest memories are of family holidays and weekends spent in Kleinbaai. 

After completing high school at HTS Drostdy in Worcester in 2002, driven by a lifelong passion for connecting with people, Pietie ventured abroad for a time before returning to South Africa to pursue his true calling. His journey led him to real estate, where he discovered a perfect fit for his skills and interests.

In 2023, Pietie joined Pride Property, a move made possible by his longstanding friendship with Adele and Pieter. 

At Pride Property, Pietie finds immense joy working closely with clients, ensuring their needs are met with the utmost dedication and professionalism. His ultimate satisfaction comes from achieving positive outcomes and making clients happy.

When he is not at work, Pietie loves relaxing with his wife, socialising with friends and spending time at the gym.
