Romansbaai Beach & Fynbos Estate opened their doors to the wedding of the year last Saturday.
Dr. Zander and Pieta Barnard said their I do's on Romansbaai's North facing, sandy beach with a back drop of turquoise, greens and blues. It was a beautiful day for a white wedding.
With a string ensemble the grooms walked the isle. There was just enough breeze as to, almost on cue, create a slight dancing of the drapes around the altar. White lillies marked the elegance of the simple yet sophisticated ceremony.
After the intimate commemoration, the guests enjoyed champagne and oysters as they watched the sun escape over the horizon before heading off to the Blue Goose in Gansbaai for the reception.
