Walker Bay, stretching from the riverside charm of Stanford through the rugged coastlines of Gansbaai...
The farm of 423 ha lies close to the village of Wolvengat. It is also close and conveniently situated between Gansbaai and Bredasdorp. The farm has 80 ha of rooibos tea with 60 ha in production and a further 80 ha cleared for future tea production. Also, 70 ha of leucadendron cut flower production with natural fynbos on the rest of the farm. There is potential for expansion as areas have been cleared of alien plants. Although the farm relies mainly on rainwater for its needs, it has two boreholes tested at 10000 liters per hour with a water storage tower. Eskom power is also available.
The farm office is 126 sq m and can also be converted into a house with lots of open space living. There is also a 240 sq m shed and a 2500 sq m nursery net structure. Plans are available for an ultra-energy-efficient farmhouse.
Besides its stunning scenery, it is not too far from the sea, with views of Struisbaai and Cape Agulhas where the Southern Right whales come for their summer break.
