Did you know? A Pacemaker Could Save a Dog’s Life
At The Pet Grocer, we’re always looking for ways to help pets in need, and we want to share an important, life-saving option with you!
If you have a pacemaker and you’re looking to make a meaningful impact, consider donating it to a dog in need after you pass away. Although pacemakers can’t be used for humans once they’re no longer needed, they can still help dogs with heart conditions and potentially save their lives.
Here’s how it works:
• You can include your pacemaker donation in your Will, and it can be sent to a vet of your choice for a dog in need.
• Many pacemakers are discarded, and unfortunately, many dogs suffer and die because people don’t know about this option.
• Donating your pacemaker can even save the dog's owner the cost of a new one, which can sometimes make all the difference in getting the life-saving treatment their pet needs.
Let’s help ensure more furry friends get the second chance they deserve!
