The Pet Grocer Gives Discount On Pet Food Bought For BARC
This month The Pet Grocer in Gansbaai shares a few tips to help animals this festive season. Whether you want to give a gift or are giving back to your community, here are four ways to help those furry members in and around Gansbaai, most in need.
1. Donate pet food to animal rescue organisations
Collaborate with friends, family and colleagues and buy cat and dog food for your local animal shelter.
2. Adopt, don’t shop
Think about all the abandoned animals at your local animal shelter who would love a forever home, when you decide to add a pet to your family.
3. Foster a pet from your local animal shelter
Consider fostering a pet for the holiday season if you aren’t in a position to be a full-time pet owner.
4. Be conscious of what you are eating this festive season
Look for certifications that indicate the humane treatment of animals on farms if you eat meat, eggs, and dairy.
The Pet Grocer Gives Discounts On Food Bought For BARC
As an incentive to help those animals in the greater Gansbaai community, most in need, The Pet Grocer offers discounts on all bulk buys of five bags or more if purchased for the Birkenhead Animal Rescue Centre’s furry residents. This means that you together with your friends, family and work colleagues can get together and buy desperately needed food to donate to BARC this festive season. If you prefer to remain anonymous, you can call The Pet Grocer to arrange your generous donation on your behalf.
