Visions Styl’n Chic began with the vision of award-winning stylist Melody Dean, who saw no reason why world-class hairdressing had to belong to big cities.
Over the years, she built a full-service salon that would go on to compete and win on national and international stages, proving that exceptional talent can flourish anywhere.
Today, Melody’s legacy lives on in the team’s unwavering standards, creative approach and commitment to making every client feel exceptional.
Introducing the dream team at Visions Styl’n Chic:
Melody inherited her love for hair and beauty from her mother, who was a hairstylist. She followed in her mom’s footsteps, qualifying at Cape Town College in 1997.
Melody lives out her passion for hair, colour and creativity by using her clients’ hair as an artistic canvas. One of the standout moments of her career was working with the Wella crew at AFI Fashion Week in 2020.
Her lifetime career achievement came in 2023 when she qualified as a Wella Master Colour Expert, the highest accolade in the international hair industry.

Gail Gibson, AKA 'The Brazilian Queen,' has worked closely with Melody for over a decade.
With extensive expertise in understanding hair texture, precision styling, and hair health, Gail has honed her skills over the years. Her compassionate nature shines through each interaction, making clients feel completely at ease.

Lee Odendaal is a qualified hairstylist with a vibrant personality and a passion for making sure every day is a good hair day!
Lee studied at Carlton Hair Academy in Randburg and has been in the hair industry for over 12 years. Before moving to Gansbaai, she owned a hair studio in Hartbeespoort near Johannesburg.

Elandré Hans is a talented nail technician with a natural flair for style and a warm personality that shines through in every treatment.
Elandré worked as the salon’s receptionist for over five years before specialising in hand and foot care. During that time, she won several accolades as Melody’s model in top local and international hair and beauty competitions.

Adrie Prinsloo is a highly regarded professional, specialising in permanent makeup, paramedical procedures and beauty therapies.
With over 20 years of experience, including 15 as a dental nurse, she offers expertise that’s hard to match.
Adrie uses the latest equipment and premium-quality products to deliver exceptional treatments. She is the only therapist in Gansbaai offering laser treatments, setting her apart in the industry.
