Leather Repairs and Custom Leatherwork Gansba...
Meet Mike Kemp, a skilled leather craftsman based in De Kelders, Gansbaai.
If Gansbaai’s old harbour wall could talk, the stories would never end.
Generations have come and gone, but the “ou muur” still stands, its weathered surface quietly holding decades of memories and the footprints of countless visitors.
Fishing boats heading out before sunrise, seals bobbing in the harbour, campers in the caravan park, surfers catching waves, and people simply standing still for a moment to watch the ocean. For many, it’s more than a harbour wall. It’s a fishing spot. A sunset walk. A place to sit and watch the boats return. A meeting place. Maybe even the setting for that first magical kiss.
There must be thousands of stories connected to this landmark.
