To claim back from SDL in South Africa: you can claim for planned, internal, day - day training and learnerships. Always keep a record of the training you or one of your employees have done and add a rand value to it. Also keep an attendance register of the employees who attended, even if it was only internal day - day training.
1) Contribute towards the Skills Development Levies
2) Be registered with your SETA
3) Submit your Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) for 1 April - 30 March of the following year by 30 June
