Italian cuisine has officially become the first in the world to be awarded UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage status.

Today we celebrate “Giorno della Repubblica” - a special day in Italian history. On June 2nd, 1946, Italians voted for a Republic, and for the first time, women could vote too.
