When Anger Becomes a Habit
Many people believe their anger simply “happens”.

"Narcissistic relationships often result in a loss of identity for you, which results in you staying because you know who you are within the relationship, and no longer know who you truly are."
When you're in a narcissistic relationship, your world quietly starts to shrink. Piece by piece, you give up your voice, your preferences, your passions - until all that’s left is a version of you that only exists to keep the peace, to avoid the next blow-up, to be what they need.
And so you stay.
Not because you don’t want more.
But because the version of yourself that once believed you deserved more has been buried beneath years of survival.
It becomes your comfort zone, even when it hurts.
Because the pain you know feels safer than the unknown you don’t.
But hear this, with all the love in my heart:
Your healing is not about fixing the relationship.
It’s about rediscovering YOU.
The real you - the one with a laugh that lights up the room.
The one who once had dreams.
The one who still lives inside you, quietly waiting for permission to rise.
Leaving the cycle is terrifying, I know.
But what lies beyond that fear is freedom. Peace. A homecoming to yourself.
You are not broken. You are not weak.
You are awakening.
