Real Change Starts Within
There comes a point where you realise…

I have yet to meet a person who moved through childhood completely untouched by life.
Some experienced loss.
Some carried the pain of rejection or bullying.
Others grew up in environments where emotional safety was uncertain.
Life is not only painful, and it is not only joyful.
But what we carry from those early experiences quietly shapes how we see ourselves… and how we experience relationships.
As we move into adulthood, we often carry unseen emotional imprints - beliefs about whether we are worthy, lovable, safe, or enough.
And then we enter relationships.
Not from a place of fullness…
but often from a place of unhealed emotion.
Without even realising it, we begin to look for someone who can meet us in those places - to complete us, to soothe us, to fill what feels missing.
And the truth is…
They are doing the same.
This is why so many people find themselves in relationships that feel familiar, even when the person is different.
It is not coincidence.
It is the emotional resonance of unhealed parts within us recognising the same within another.
Two people, both hoping - often unconsciously - that the other will bring healing.
And over time, this creates pressure, disappointment, and pain for both.
Not because either person is wrong.
But because the responsibility for healing has been placed outside of ourselves.
The cycle begins to change the moment we gently turn inward.
Not with blame.
Not with judgement.
But with ownership.
When you take responsibility for your own emotional healing, something powerful happens.
You are no longer seeking someone to complete you.
You begin to meet others from a place of awareness, strength, and wholeness.
And from that place… everything changes.
You relate differently.
You choose differently.
You experience love differently.
The greatest gift you can offer a relationship is not perfection.
It is your willingness to take ownership of your own healing.
Because when you do, you no longer attract from pain…
You begin to connect from truth.

As long as there is an emotional pain within you that speaks to a pain within someone else, you will continue to attract the same kind of partner.

Why your body still reacts to the narcissist long after they are gone.
Our bodies are the container within which we live.
There comes a moment after leaving a narcissistically abusive relationship when you realise something unexpected.
Leaving a narcissistic abusive relationship often brings a moment where people say to you, “At least the worst is over.”
Many people believe their anger simply “happens”.
