Join the SAWS Kindness Campaign in Stanford!
Bring your family and your furry friends for a fun-filled morning with the Stanford Animal Welfare Society (SAWS)!
We are all familiar with Santa’s shoe-box and other gift projects around Christmas time. This year Stanford Animal Welfare Society is asking you to contribute to a similar, smaller project for our local pets. It has become custom to hand out food and other pet-related items at our year-end dip clinic each year and we need your help to collect enough items to provide a gift bag for each pet.
During November collection boxes will be available at the SAWS shop, Stanford Vet Clinic, Coffee Corner and Doulene Els in Gansbaai. Please place new or clean second-hand items in these boxes. We will collect them for distribution at the dip clinic.
Here are a few suggestions:
No time to shop? Feel free to leave a cash donation at the Vet Clinic and we will purchase the appropriate items on your behalf. Should you wish to fill a box or bag with goodies to go to a single pet, we suggest that this should be a “puppy starter kit” with items suitable for a new puppy.
