The village of Greyton is known for its quiet oak-lined streets and friendly folks that wave as you pass by. Quiet and easy-going for most of the year, the green village is gearing up for two classic events, namely the Greyton Classic and the Greyton Genadendal Classics for All Festival.

Greyton Genadendal Classics for All Festival

Celebrating its 12th year on the stage, this enthralling event is a treat for all and should not be missed. The event takes place from 20 – 22 May and includes classical music with a modern twits performed by singers, choirs and orchestras.

Hosted at various establishments in Greyton, the line-up includes favourites like the Hugo Lambrechts Symphony Orchestra, Folk Baroque, Stanislov Agelov, two of South Africa’s top classical performers, baritone Johannes Slabbert and soprano Noluvuyiso Mpofu, and many more!

Greyton Classic

This exciting MTB and Trail Run event celebrates its 9th year in 2016 and is proudly sponsored by Pennypinchers. The event takes place from 16 - 19 June and includes a 2 day MTB Race, 2 day kiddies MTB Race and a dress-up Night Fun Run.

Hosted at The Oaks Estate, the event is popular with those who enjoy a good challenge while enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the Overberg.
