Stanford boasts its own little Saturday morning market. Lemons for sale!!! All proceeds go to the Stanford Conservation Fund. Ready-made meals, decadent gluten free cakes, fresh bread and artisan cheese, chocolate-dipped dried fruit, caramel popcorn, ginger, goji berries, cranberries, pies, gluten-free quiche, veggie patties, veggie mini pizza, farm eggs, crunchies & shortbread, fresh farm grown vegetables, heirloom seedlings, jams & chutneys, pickles, chilli sauces, Erwin’s salamis and cold meat.

2 Day Group Workshop

Cost R1 850 pp includes all ingredients, apron, nibbles, prepared drinks, and a fireside lunch. A two day creative group preparation course in a warm workspace exploring techniques of maintaining food for the future months. Smoking, water bath canning, root cellaring, ferments and confits are age old methods we will explore during this hands-on time together. Eat local, keep your roots.

Meet at Stanford Tourism
Stride, jog or stroll. R20 adults, kids free, dogs R10 each. If you are joining the Stanford Striders beforehand, or would like to paddle on the Klein River with the Stanford Canoe Club, please join in the fun, and the excitement of the rising of the full moon. Mulled wine and Milo on sale (R30) at the Tourism Office. Funds raised are to generate further tourism-based events in Stanford.
