Bredasdorp High School Newsletter - (Issue 12)

Bredasdorp High School’s Newsletter 12 (April 2026) highlights recent academic, cultural, and sports achievements, along with upcoming events. Learners performed well in national competitions like the Computer Talent Search and TechX Challenge, earning several silver and bronze awards. The Grade 12 Tourism group enjoyed an educational trip to Cape Town, visiting Table Mountain and the Castle of Good Hope.

In sports, the school participated in hockey, rugby, and netball matches against various schools, with a mix of strong wins and tough losses. Several netball players were selected for regional trials, and cycling achievements were also recognised. The newsletter also celebrates student development initiatives, including mentorship activities for Grade 12 learners and the school’s cycling tour.

The term theme, “Be a leader,” is reflected throughout the achievements and activities.
