A Simple Home Remedy for Coughs
As the seasons change many people might be suffering from sore throats and coughs. Did you know that onions can also be used to make a simple and inexpensive cough syrup? This easy home remedy can be made with ingredients you probably already have.
1. Dice 1 onion into small pieces.
2. Transfer the pieces into a clean glass jar.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, close the jar and shake it.
4. Allow the mixture to rest for 2 hours.
5. A liquid will form which is used as the cough syrup.
That’s it! The syrup created is natural and soothing. Next time you’re dealing with a cough, reach for an onion - you might be surprised at how well it works!
