Dit het baie goed gegaan met ons kroeg verkope in Januarie. Bar sales were excellent in January.

Ons trekkertjie wil ook so mooi wees, soek borge om haar so te laat pronk. Our small tractor also wants to look so nice, look for sponsors to help her look so beautiful.

4. Steak Evening: Die steak aand en daarna dans. The steak evening and dance afterwards.

Die saal was pragtig opgemaak vir die eerste dans in jare. Die steakaand was ‘n reuse sukses en daarna het die mense lekker gedans. Baie dankie Johan Paulsen vir al jou reëlings.

The haal was beautifully arranged for the first dance in years. The steak evening was a huge success and afterward the people enjoyed dancing. Thank you Johan Paulsen for making all the arrangements.

Here's Today's Tip... Address the ball.

If you watch PGA TOUR players on TV you know that they each have their own unique pre-shot routine. Some take a lot of practice swings and take their time settling into each shot. Some don¹t take any practice swings at all and play each shot extremely quickly.

There is, however, one thing that almost all PGA TOUR players do exactly the same when it comes to their pre-shot routines. It’s how they address the ball.

Many amateur golfers don’t really think about how they address or approach the ball before every shot. They simply walk up to the ball, look at the target, and take a swing.

 

Elite players, like those on the PGA TOUR, are different. Here’s how they address the ball:

Start from behind the ball. You¹ll notice that almost every PGA TOUR player starts their pre-shot routine behind the ball. That’s because it gives them the best view of their target line.

Walk along the target line as you approach the ball. Think about trying to shoot a rifle while looking through the side of the scope. Sound difficult? Well most golfers make a similar mistake when they approach their golf ball from the side instead of walking up from behind the ball on the target line.

Clubface first. When you’re ready to address the ball the most effective way to keep your alignment on track is to lay down your club and get it square to the target line before worrying about your body. Once you have your club face aligned properly behind the ball you can settle in your feet and your shoulders so they are parallel with the target line.

In a complex game like golf the little things matter. That’s why being conscious of how you are addressing each and every shot is so important. Keep the tips above in mind and you’ll find yourself hitting more shots on target and shooting lower scores!
