Gansbaai Tourism is excited to welcome Patricia Menge as its new tourism manager.
Patricia is a passionate and enthusiastic addition to the tourism team, bringing fresh energy and new ideas. With her corporate and marketing background, Gansbaai can look forward to great things happening under her guidance.
Patricia says the community's response has been overwhelming, and she is grateful for all the support and well-wishes she has received as she embarks on this exciting new chapter of her life.
In Patricia’s own words:
“Thank you so much for the incredible messages of support from the community. I have huge shoes to fill, having taken over from Glenda Kitley, and I look forward to adding value to the community. Please come and visit me, and let’s collaborate on how we can take Gansbaai to the next level.”
Patricia is no newbie when it comes to working with the community.
Many will recognise her from her time at Xplorio, the Overberg’s town website, where she was instrumental in promoting and connecting the wider Overberg community.
Her experience in this area will serve her well as she takes on her new role.
Outside of her professional life, Patricia is an avid biker. In her spare time, she and her life partner, Norman, love exploring the highways and byways of the Overberg with their beloved biking club, all while immersing themselves in the region’s breathtaking nature and beauty.
We look forward to seeing how Patricia’s expertise and passion will help elevate Gansbaai as a top tourism destination.
