Online applications for admission for the Chrysalis Academy’s development and leadership programme is open.
Chrysalis facilitates two male courses and one female course per year, each lasting three months. This intake will be for the women's course.
All applications for admission must be submitted online through Home-SAYouth – simply follow the steps, or call 0800 727272 (Toll-Free) for further assistance. Handwritten forms will not be accepted.
The closing date is 17 February 2025.
Young women who apply will be required to register on SA Youth Mobi. The SA Youth Mobi is a data free app and the youth will not incur any data cost and/or need data to go online.
Those interested in joining the Academy should be:
* 18 to 25 years old
* Have passed Grade 9 (Standard 7)
* Not in employment, education or training
* Have no criminal record
* Be a resident of the Western Cape
* Be drug-free
The Chrysalis Academy is a drug-free organisation. Drug testing is conducted during recruitment and on intake. Only applicants who are drug-free will be invited to apply and can be enrolled. Candidates who test positive for any form of drug during the course will not be allowed to continue with the programme.
