NOTICE: Eskom reschedules outage to 25 March in light of major golf event

The Eskom power outage originally scheduled for 18 March 2025 in Hermanus, Stanford, Gansbaai, and surrounding areas will now take place on 25 March 2025.

The 60th Nomads Nationals Jubilee Event, the world’s largest amateur golf tournament on a single course, will be hosted by the Hermanus Golf Club from 16 to 20 March 2025.

We thank Eskom for accommodating this change, as the event will provide a significant economic boost to Hermanus, with 450 golfers and their families visiting local restaurants, wine farms, and tourist attractions throughout the week.

The full-day power outage on 25 March will take place from 06:00 to 18:00. Please note that Hawston, Fisherhaven, Vermont, and part of Onrus will not be affected.
