Whale Coast Weekend Events: 21 - 25 May 2025
From markets and music to workshops and walks, here’s what’s happening this week across the Whale Coast.
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a yellow level 4 warning for damaging winds and waves across a large part of the province from 13 - 15 March 2025.
For those traveling, please drive carefully and allow extra time as routes may be impacted by strong winds, fallen trees, and sand accumulation on coastal roads. Secure loose outdoor items, and small boats should stay away from the open sea. There is also a risk of runaway fires.
Here's a reminder of the contact numbers you might need for the various emergency services:
* 028 313 8111 for or blocked storm water drains etc.
* 028 312 2400 in case of a fire, flood or medical emergency
