Remember the Gansbaai and Cape Whale Coast Penguin Campaign launched in August 2019?
Misti, Phumla, Blue, POCX, Dee Liscious, Gaia, Pearly Percy and Gans are all to be found in the greater Gansbaai area.
Children up to age 15 - Visit at least 3 penguins between 23 September and 23 October 2021, bring a photograph as proof to Gansbaai Tourism and answer a simple question and you will win an instant small prize!
T&Cs - you can only enter once.
Photos must be taken during that period.
Remember the aim of this project initiated by The African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary, Marine Dynamics, The Dyer Island Conservation Trust in association with Gansbaai Tourism is the conservation of this endangered species - the African Penguin. The objective of the campaign is to: Follow the Penguins / Discover the Places / Taste the Food and Experience the Moments.
The Cape Whale Coast Penguins, Sir Robert; Hermie and Peggy can be found at the Stanford, Hermanus and Kleinmond Visitor Information Centres.
