Discover the Flavours of 2025
Unveiling a bold new 2025 menu and wine list, celebrating coastal flavours and South African wines
On Women’s Day, 9 August 2025, the Great White House Restaurant in Kleinbaai was a warm place for people looking for good food, inspiration, and nice music.
The L-Gin women’s trio served tasty gin, and Chef Chris told stories about how sound and taste bring back memories. Every moment was a celebration of life’s simple joys.
When Nianell sang, the whole room changed. Her beautiful voice touched many hearts and even brought some tears. She sang songs like Life Simplified, Who Painted the Moon Black, Die Oomblik is Nou, and How Beautiful Love Can Be. She also reminded us that true love starts with loving yourself. Your light is a gift to the world.
After the music, the kitchen served guests sweet and salty snacks. A group of women who finished school together in 1981 had their reunion here, showing that true friendship is also love.
By the end of the day, everyone left happy and smiling, knowing this Women’s Day was more than just a celebration; it was a gift for the soul.
