Fiscal Flycatcher Babies Thrive
Our parting shot this week is of the fiscal flycatcher babies that were born a week ago in a nest just outside our office.
On 4 April 2024, we invited local press and media for an informative Open Day. They got to walk through the beautiful milkwood forest - a vital part of Grootbos, named for its 'large forest' of fynbos vegetation. We shared our important programs and initiatives focused on preserving nature and helping communities.

The beautiful Hannarie Wenhold Botanical Gallery is the home of the Florilegium art collection and office of the Florilegium Team. A tour of the gallery was included to see how art is used as a tool for conservation.
