Our parting shot this week is of the fiscal flycatcher babies that were born a week ago in a nest just outside our office.
Hey Overstrand Youth! Here's your chance to apply for the Grootbos Foundation's 2024 Employability Programme! It's open to all 18-35 year olds looking to start their careers. Through this programme, you will gain employability skills and practical experience to start your journey in the world of work.
The programme will start with a 3-day Employability Workshop in June, thereafter, you will attend an interview in July, and those who are successful will receive workplace experience at local businesses for 10 days.
Applications Close: Friday, 24 May 2024.
