On 18 May 2024, our young paddlers, alongside the Stanford Canoe Club, hosted the Stanford River Festival. This fantastic event provided all our paddlers with the opportunity to race on their home river. Over 80 paddlers took to the twinkling Klein River on a spectacular autumn day.
Congratulations to all our paddlers for their participation and enthusiasm! A heartfelt thank you goes out to the village volunteers and Grootbos coaches who ensured the event ran smoothly and safely, without a hitch.
