Fiscal Flycatcher Babies Thrive
Our parting shot this week is of the fiscal flycatcher babies that were born a week ago in a nest just outside our office.
Our entomologists are hard at work, sweeping and brushing through foliage with their trusty nets during a rapid bioblitz. This technique helps them scoop up fascinating insects into their nets.
The real fun begins when they dive headfirst into the nets to discover what treasures they’ve caught! It’s all part of understanding and protecting the incredible biodiversity at the Grootbos Foundation.
