Mushrooms and Fun(gi) at Grootbos
Winter in the Cape means one thing - mushroom season!
At the beautiful Gansbaai artificial turf, our junior coach, Mesuli, is building the future of hockey! He has started recruiting a beginner's hockey squad to grow the sport and encourage more young girls to join ahead of the 2nd term.
The Rhino-Turf artificial field is the perfect place to develop skills in both hockey and football, providing a safe and high-quality space for young athletes. Mesuli’s journey is truly inspiring - having grown up in the Grootbos Foundation sports programme, he is now giving back as a role model for the next generation.
We can’t wait to see these young stars take the field!
