Camera traps are motion-activated cameras that capture images or videos when animals pass by, often revealing behaviors and species that are rarely seen by humans. These unobtrusive devices have revolutionized wildlife research and conservation by providing a window into the hidden lives of animals without disturbing their natural behaviors.
