20 of Grootbos Foundation's Earth Rangers were invited by Dyer Island Conservation Trust and Cape Nature to participate in a Marine Protected Area day on 1 August. They spent a wonderful morning helping to clear litter from some of the Gansbaai coastline along with 100 other young children and they enjoyed lunch together. The Earth Rangers programme is a nature-based programme that is delivered by our sports coaches, aimed at getting young children to experience nature and develop love and curiosity about their natural heritage. Thank you to Dyer Island Conservation Trust and Cape Nature for this treat.
