Boosting Soil Health with Kelp and Mushroom Compost

A huge shoutout to Taurus for their generous donation of 5 cubes of nutrient-rich kelp compost! This adds to the mushroom compost already used by i-MED Africa’s Gardening Club to enrich the soil for our plants.

Mushroom compost is loaded with essential nutrients like nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus, helping plants grow strong and healthy. Meanwhile, kelp compost brings in trace minerals like magnesium, zinc, and iodine, which improve soil fertility and keep plants thriving.

Special thanks to our amazing local businesses for supporting our initiatives - helping us grow from the ground up!

Unati, our dedicated gardener, has been carefully nurturing medicinal plants from both seeds and cuttings. This latest batch of established cuttings is now ready for distribution by our health promoters, reaching community members and gardeners.
