Prioritising Mental Health
This month we’ve been focusing on mental health at the Gansbaai clinic.
Just before the winter holidays, the Ikamva substance abuse team visited our Kids Club. The social workers became actors for the day and performed a powerful play for the children.
The story showed how some things we put into our bodies can act like poison, and reminded everyone why it’s important to make smart choices.
It’s the same message that Nosi and Bongeka share every day as they teach the children about good food and healthy living.
