The Zilawule journey begins at Masakhane Primary School!

The School Leavers class has started i-MED Africa’s GBV programme with their first lesson on empathy.
The learners were excited to receive their new workbooks and begin this important journey together.
The first lesson looked at how we can all feel very different inside, even when we may look the same on the outside. Learners explored why it is important to notice, listen and show empathy towards others.
This programme is especially important as these learners prepare to leave the safe and protected school environment and enter the wider world.
Through this programme, they will build knowledge, skills and confidence to help them make safe choices, understand relationships and look after themselves and others. We are proud to be part of this journey with the learners.
