Komtessa Boutique Has A New Owner

After almost fifty years in the fashion and retail industry, Kokkie Englebrecht of Komtessa Boutique has decided it is time to take a well-deserved break. 

While the community will miss her, everyone is abuzz about the boutique's new owner, Tinneke Lutzeyer!

A Match Made In Heaven

Kokkie and Tinneke have a long history together that stretches back to when Tinneke was in her teens. She proudly says that her first-holiday job was helping out in the boutique. It was here that her love for fashion and working with people was born, inspiring her dream of one day opening a fashion retail store, of her own. 

After matriculating, Tinneke received her Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium at the African Film and Drama Academy in 2008. Even after exploring her new career and becoming a mom, you could still find her helping out at the boutique whenever Kokkie needed a hand. So when it came time to sell, it made sense that the boutique went to somebody who loved it dearly. 

New Beginnings

Going forward, Tinneke wants to continue with Komtessa’s attention to quality and personalised service while growing a collection of timeless outfits for women of all ages. It’s all about the right blend of trend and classic fashion, something the modern woman shops for. Her fresh approach to fashion embraces clothing for all occasions and includes showcasing the talents of local designers. Exclusive services include personal consultations and assistance with clothing selection, as well as professional hemming and shaping alterations if needed.
