A stunning day out on the water with incredible shark activity and Bronze whaler sharks!
Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive Site: Joubertsdam
Water Temp: Moderate
Visibility: Low
Sightings: Bronze Whaler Shark, Cape Fur Seal, Sevengill Shark
Trip Summary: It started out a bit slow for our guests and crew today, we had a couple of Cape Fur Seals around and plenty of sea birds but that was it for the first trip today, we also took them to shark ally to show them a few thousand Cape Fur Seals! The weather conditions were beautiful with a (mostly) calm sea and cooking sun! For the second trip today it also took some waiting before the first shark of the day to arrive! A Broadnose Sevengill Shark! She came around a few times, but then we decided to move anchor where some Bronze Whaler Sharks had been spotted! And good was that! In the end, we had four different Bronze Whaler Sharks around! Our last trip had a quick sighting of a Bronze Whaler Shark from the boat, but definitely enjoyed the day out at sea with the lovely sun!
