Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive Site: Joubertsdam
Water Temp: Moderate
Visibility: Poor
Sightings: Bronze Whaler Sharks, Cape Fur Seal and Giant Petrel
Summary: As we headed out of Kleinbaai Harbour, we had smooth conditions waiting for us. We did not have to wait long before Bronze Whaler sharks appeared at the boat, sticking with us throughout the trip and allowing guests an up-close experience with these majestic animals. Whilst on anchor, we were able to witness a Cape Fur seal showing off impressive predation skills, followed by a sighting of the pelagic bird, the Giant-petrel! A great way to start off the week, thank you to all who joined us today onboard Slashfin!
