Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Good
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur Seals + Giant petrel
Summary: An adventurous day on the water with some windy conditions, but nothing that dulled the spirit of our guests! Arriving on anchor, the shelter of the bay made for more comfortable diving conditions, and divers were soon in their wetsuits ready to join the Bronze whaler sharks. Individuals of varying sizes visited the cage, showing off all ages. Guests were also able to witness some Cape fur seals, some of which were even predating on silver fish species, with additional sightings of marine birds such as Giant petrels, White-chinned petrels and Cape gannets. Thank you to everyone who joined us at Marine Dynamics.
