Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Poor
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal
Summary: Finally, we faced the swells and headed out to sea with two trips and excited guests ready to see some sharks! Not long after we anchored our first Bronze whaler sharks sighting appeared. Visibility was limited today but the sharks were amazing and coming close to all divers in the cage, offering an up close experience. A Cape fur seal joined the sightings list, actively predating on a silverfish species and showing off another great species in our water. Thanks to all divers for joining us today!
