Yes… I’m releasing another book! And once again, I’m incredibly grateful to Heleen and Malherbe Publishers for believing in my work.
Pernicious: The Road to Le Mans is Book 2 in what has now become a trilogy. I actually started working on this manuscript while The Professor was still in production, and the story just kept growing from there.
After moving from Pretoria to Gansbaai, settling into a new environment, and navigating the chaos of building a home, writing didn’t always come easily. But once The Professor was released, I threw myself into this new story and completed it around September.
In this book, my spies, left without a mission, set out to restore historic race cars and compete in the Le Mans Classic. Naturally, trouble follows them, and a criminal element threatens to derail their plans. And yes, Natalie-Dominique makes another appearance!
I still can’t say exactly where my love for sports cars comes from… but it certainly keeps inspiring new adventures.
