Red Wine Oxtail
Warm up this winter season with rich, slow-cooked oxtail, gently infused with garlic and oregano.
Bring the warmth of Italy to your kitchen with these Italian-style meatballs. Juicy meatballs are gently simmered in a rich tomato sauce before being served over perfectly cooked spaghetti and topped with Parmesan and fresh basil. Simple, satisfying and made to be shared.
Ingredients
• Spaghetti
• 500g Mince
• 4 tbsps Breadcrumbs
• 1 Egg
• 2 tbsps Oil
• Ina Paarman pasta sauce
• Tomato puree
• Parmesan cheese
• Salt and pepper
• Fresh garnish - basil
Method
1. Make the spaghetti according to the instructions.
2. Add the mince to a bowl and crack one egg and pour in the breadcrumbs, then season with salt and pepper.
3. Mix the mince with your hands and make sure everything is combined. Then roll the mince mixture into round balls.
4. Shallow fry the meatballs until golden brown and remove from the oil
5. In a clean pot add the Ina Paarman Paste Sauce, some tomato puree and add the meatballs.
6. Cook gently for about 15 minutes.
7. Spoon the sauce and the meatballs over the spaghetti and top with parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
